Skindl

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Skindl ("we," "us") helps you understand the ingredients in skincare products and whether they fit your skin. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We built Skindl to collect as little as possible.

Who we are

Skindl is operated by Clayton Kinnard, based in Michigan, United States. You can reach us at support@skindl.app.

What we collect

We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use Skindl. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

How your data is processed

To analyze a product, the photo and your skin profile are sent securely to our backend (Supabase) and to an AI vision provider (Google Gemini) that reads the ingredients and helps assess them. These providers process the data on our behalf to return your result and do not use it to identify you. The specific AI provider we use may change over time as we improve the service; we will update this policy if it does.

Where your data is stored

Your skin profile and scan history are stored in our backend database, protected so that only your device's anonymous account can access them. Subscription status is managed by Apple and RevenueCat.

Your choices

Children

Skindl is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
